We all know that there is no telling when we will take our last breath, but in McCain's case...Well. I'm unsure if electing someone in their goldening years is a wise choice. We as a country have a lot of hard work to do to get ourselves back together again. I ask this question with all due respect.

  1. HERE HERE DODGER guy!  Right on.

  2. Grandpa McSame too old? Darn straight he's to old.

  3. Since retirement age for civil service is 30 years on the job and 55 years of age, it is logical to elect public officials within the same guidelines.

There is more than enough human resource to fulfill the demand.  Retiring people at age 55 who have worked at least 30 years will free up positions for younger workers and political leaders.

Senator McCain is eligible to retire under this scenario.

  4. No.  Do you think Obama is too YOUNG?

  5. No, he is NOT too old. In China and Russia, Cuba and so many other countries, they want oldsters. I suspect he is in better overall health than Obama-rama.

    McCain in '08!

  6. No, he's not too old.

  7. no age really doesnt matter I think.

Regan one of the best presidents...do we not remember his last term in office?!

do we not remember the trickle down economy where the rich got richer and the poor got poorer?

  8. It has nothing to do with age, it has to do with what you do with your life.  You can live a long time if you are healthy and active.  People live into their 100s.  You can be 20 and have a life threatening illness.  I think he would be a better choice than Obama based on age.  When McCain was younger, he wasn't exposed to all the chemicals in all the medications and medical procedures as someone Obama's age would be.  He is probably much better healthwise.

  9. No.  If he is alert and healthy his age doesn't really matter.  I am much more interested in his position on the issues.  And I believe those positions are getting better.

  10. That's like asking if Obama is too black.

While I have absolutely NO intention of voting for McCain (he's just a Democrat in sheep's clothing) his age is a non-issue, just as Obama's skin color is a non-issue (except for many Obama supporters.

Discrimination based on age is as bad as discrimination based on religion, s*x or skin color.

  11. He is one year older than Reagan who did a fine job in office

    questioning his age is pathetic

" i ask this question in all due respect"

There is nothing respectful about age discrimination. It is just as pathetic as race discrimination

  12. Reagan was 68 I think and he did a great job.  One of the greatest presidents in American history.

  13. I don't think he was ever qualified for the job.

  14. If everything else is equal (and it never is), I'd choose great experience over very little experience.  I'm not sure age is a factor.

I hope I answered your question with the same amount of respect that you asked it.
