Definately a great one, had great hands, defense started to faid towards the end, but always performed.

Yes but unfortunately he was an even better technical boxer. What I mean by that is when he went pro he got johhny lewis as a trainer, great trainer but who only trains one style-  'battering ram'. aka jeff fenech, jeff harding.

tzyu was the best counterpuncher and defensive specialist anyone had ever seen as an amateur- If he had have chosen some tricky black trainer of that style in the states, I think he would have been even better, maybe never losing.

Yes look at his record, 31 wins (25 by knockout). He's definately the best Australian boxer.

Kostya Tszyu was a great fighter and very good champion.  He displayed class in the ring and out and had devastating power (just ask Chavez and Zab Judah LOL)......He may have stayed around too long but he was an outstanding fighter and champion.  In his prime imagine fights against a Pryor or Hatton or Cotto.....great dream fights.
