  1. No,just a good solid choice.

  2. McCain should fire his casting director.

Bad choice, and as you said, predictable, as McCain is not popular with women voters.

  3. That is easy to say in hindsight, I don't remember that many people predicting such beforehand. And nobody could predict he would made such an absurdly unknown unqualified pick for VP. Well, I suppose it happened before. This is really Dan Qualye II.

  4. wasn't going to vote since Hilary dropped out but now that McCain's vp  is Palin I am voting for Obama.

  5. no Sweetheart McCain is a very boring old man and his choice is because he is just desprate to make his campaign insteresting that's all!!! and i am sure americans are going to fall for it! if i'm not mistaken they already have!!!!!!

  6. The Republicans gave us the first black Secretary of State

The Republicans gave us the first black WOMAN Secretary of State

The Republicans gave us the first female Supreme Court Justice

The Republicans gave us an administration under Bush with the most women and minorities of any previous administration

AND NOW: The Republican's will give us the first woman Vice President

It kills you that Obama didnt have the BALLS to do it doesnt it?

  7. Most people in the know did not think she was going to be picked. Money was on Pawlenty or Romney. So, no, it was not predictable.

  8. Very predictable, given the circumstances.

What was unpredictable (to my mind) was that rather than tapping someone with experience who would have all but guaranteed him the White House (Condaleeza Rice?), he chose an inexperienced stranger.  Any McCain attempt to paint Obama as "inexperienced" is now hollow...

  9. It doesn't matter, she is the perfect choice.

    MCCAIN / PALIN '08

  10. No has Silly and Ridiculous, That's better

  11. No.. I am voting for the top ticket anyway.  And certainly do not disagree with his choice.

  12. I was pretty sure he would pick a woman..  He had to if he wanted any slim chance of staying in the race.

That said, it is pretty shocking he went with a woman so ill-suited to take over if needed.  And sickening to me are her ultra right wing beliefs.

I think she is attracting some male voters though.  I can't believe she would attract any independent or democratic women once they know what her 'core values' are.  Pretty much opposite of any Hillary supporter.

  13. I smell democrat desperation.

  14. Tha fact that she is a woman is the LAST reason I am excited about his pick. She and Mccain are what we NEED in washington. They will bust up the old establishment and bring (dare I say it?) real change to the way things work. The liberals are way off in their "vision" for America and for years the Republicans have not come through with their promises.

  15. Honestly, I was surprised by his choice - but very pleased.

  16. I actually predicted he'd choose a woman. So yes. Predictable. However, I'm not entirely sure it's a bad idea.

  17. Yes, I like women but a job based on filling a quota is not a good thing

  18. Could liberals explain to us why you believe a man with little or no experience is qualified to be President. But a woman with little or no experience isn't?
