  1. McCain and Bush each have heads, four limbs and functioning kidneys.  That is where the similarities end.  If you think of McCain as McSame, then you are not listening very carefully, my friend.

  2. Actually I think Obama is more similar to Bush then McCain

Both went to Ivy league schools, one because of affirmative action the other because of Daddy's money. Neither were exceptionally gifted.

Both are controlled by their parties and the wealthy. Both owe favors for it.

Neither one has accomplished much of anything on their own and have relied on the work of others to make them look good.

  3. I don't get the comparisons on anything other than their views on immigration. Bush has always pushed for drilling McCain only started pushing when gas was about 4 bucks a gallon. McCain has been one of Bush's detractors on his handling of Iraq criticizing Bush for poor planning and lack of ground forces from earlier in the war. McCain has often sided with the Democrats while Bush rarely does. Personally I prefer Bush and don't care much for McCain's politics but I do believe McCain is a honest man.

  4. He did vote for Bush policies 95% of the time, so they are similare there...

  5. Both are grinning morons who think that, if they can win the "good 'ole boy" vote, they don't need to demonstrate any other qualifications for the presidency. Bush was right, but it seems like we've been fooled twice, and McCain is just an old man using an old strategy to sell us some even older ideas. Yawn!

  6. Yeah!

Sen. Barack Obama has attempted to use McCain's voting record against him in statements like this:

Barack Obama (June 3): "It's not change when John McCain decided to stand with George Bush 95 percent of the time, as he did in the Senate last year."

McCain also voted in line with his party 90 percent of the time. A vote for McCain is a vote to continue the policies of Bush.

As for Obama ,he  voted pretty close to 100 percent in line with fellow Democrats during his brief Senate career.

    hope this helps

  7. Not in the least.

  8. McCain was one of only two republicans to vote against Bush's tax cut plan and the permanent elimination of the estate tax.

He has consistently been against increasing government spending where as Bush has had no problem spending money.

He butted heads with the Bush administration on many issues, such as the waterboarding issue.

He criticized the Bush administration for its coduct of the war after deposing Sadam.

His position on environmental issues is quite different that the Bush administration as McCain has been far far more active on that.

    theres many more ...

He has been seen as a bipartisan leader on immigration issues, environmental issues, campaign finance reform

While he has voted for some things Bush is for he has more than just about any other republican been on the other side of the Bush adminstrations position.

Its so odd that many people say hes just Bush again, when he is so very much different.

  9. I'm not voting for McBush.

  10. We are birds of feather too, and as long as there is a democrat congress to mess up the deal and take an extended vacation all the while trying to pin the blame on the president, any republican would be similar to President Bush.  Put the Blame where it belongs, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, did you ever notice how quite Big Al and Big Murtha have been lately, while they are not on the sh*t list, they are smart enough to lay low and collect their salary for their non-service

to the country.  Go McCain 2008!

  11. I don't think there's anything odd about that. Most of their views are quite similar.

  12. What is your evidence? Do you have comparative quotes on the same subject in order for the Yahoo Answer community to evaluate? Where are they? If not then is it your purpose to cause a disruption?  In all honesty I am a Hillary supporter who is proudly supporting McCain in 2008 so without any evidence it is my belief you are trying to disrupt this community.

  13. Twins parted at birth. Both bad for America....and other countries for that matter.
