He sounds like an utter moron sometimes. You think he's having an (use your imagination) with the way he acts when the Mets score runs & win.

Not if you listen to him a regular basis.  He was definitely not cocky when the Mets were sucking earlier this year.  After every tough loss, he sounded like he wanted to go out onto the field and beat the everliving c**p out of them, much like any other Mets fan.  I think he is just believing in the team again.

Seriously, with our bullpen, no one should ever be even a little cocky.

Try listening to John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman sometime.

He has his moments.  He can be a homer sometimes.  He is not as bad as Michael Kay or Mark grace.  I think he is pretty decent though.

Definitely not. I think it's good to have someone that puts more enthusiasm into the game, because it makes it more interesting. Just think about the other announcers throughout baseball. Many aren't even familiar with the team. Gary Cohen makes it much more interesting, since he knows the Mets inside and out.
