  1. Try listening to All Things Considered for a few days and compare it with the reporting on the cable channels. I'm a news junkie who listens to NPR while channel surfing thru Fox, CNN and MSNBC. NPR easily gives the most in depth reporting of these networks. You will hear different points of view in their reporting and analysis. Even better, they don't have ads every 5 minutes and all the loud, annoying talking heads.  


  2. What are you talking about? Note the middle word it was created by congress along with public TV. And as a regular listener I have to laugh at applying "liberal" moniker to that stodgy old station. Is there anything you people won't call liberal?

  3. NPR does not play pop music or sensationalized human interest stories.  Get over it and watch the station you enjoy.
