Do you think that Obama just wanted to see Europe (since he's never been)?

I think it was a vaca.... What do you think? He has portrayed our country...like nobody like's US..(Why do immigrants still come here?).the true Europeans do REMEMBER everything we have done. The past generations do not have selective memories!!

Many Europeans DON'T like the US or Americans. They continue to go there because the economy is good, there's lots of space, work is available. It was always the land of milk and honey. But now since the economy is beginning to suffer, things will change.

Also the TRUE Europeans that you're talking about, the ones who know what the US did during WWll and know what the Marshall Plan REALLY is, are all dying out. The new generations see what the US is doing in the Middle East now, see how we waste energy by driving gas guzzlers, and see how we complain about the price of gas ($4/gallon) but say Europeans should be used to it and have nothing to complain about as they dish out $9/gallon.

man, that would be the coolest thing, it would be so funny and to continue a bit with what you said, i am from europe, eastern europe, and honestly, nobody here hates americans, we're too busy hating the russians and some of our neighbors, we couldn't care less about you guys, we're all just minding our own lives

Actually, he has traveled in Europe extensively, just not as part of a congressional delegation.
