I seen this black family on Oprah that lives near Chicago that doesn't even have running water, that's disgusting. I hope Obama can help the people like that in america.

When are the blacks going to free themselves and quit enslaving themselves?  Slavery was over many years ago and my parents and grandparents had nothing to do with it, and I bet yours did not either.   There are plenty of people, of all races, who have enslaved themselves to claiming to be victims rather than stand up and take responsibility for their own lives.  This is America and there are opportunities for everyone who is willing to make them happen.  So it is up to the individual, not the gov't.

The family you reference is free. They are free to go get a job and pay their water bill, just like me.  Besides, in answer to your question, when did any democrat do anything to advance black folks? The democrat politicians use he black vote to further their own political careers. I thought everybody knew that, but I guess you don't.

i think the real question is: When will Af Amer stop talking and do  something about their own situation? they are beginning to sound more racist than the whites lol, sitting around complaining about this and that. always asking "what can you do for me?" instead of "what can i do for myself and others?" and btw yeah i'm black too.

What?  They have other housing options, and alot of people live in squalor, not just african americans. Shelters, HUD, Section 8, Maybe if welfare pumpers of all races would take responsibility for their own lives instead of popping out a bunch of kids and shunning any kind of education (library cards are free) while waiting for a handout their situation would improve.
