I do...She can bring so much more to the Presidency! They are biting their nails! I just Barack Hussein...he looks worried, and he no longer has that smug look on his face!

  1. I think it was an excellent strategy from the McCain camp. Many female voters all over the U.S. were extremely ticked off that Hillary lost to Obama in the primaries. This gives pro-woman female voters an opportunity to look this female VP contender over and see how much she has in common with them. Her Pro-Life stance and her decision to have a son with down syndrome, rather than abort him, also gives her tremendous clout with the Evengelical voters who may have had some doubts about McCain's position on the abortion issue.

  2. Absolutely which is why the Democrats are on here trying to attack her on experience.  It's hilarious.   Let's see....city council member, mayor, Alaska Oil and gas conservation commission, and governor with a 80% approval rating no less.   Compared to Obama's 143 days in Senate.   And she did far more in her time in politics than Obama, took on far bigger issues as compared to Obama's mostly fluff projects as senator.   Yeah, Dems really have alot to say about her experience.  LOL.

  3. It's only a matter of time until Obama trips up and we all see what he is really about.

  4. Most definitely!  She is going to attract quite a number of the Hillary supporters who were "on the fence" when Obama got the Dem's nomination.  Some were going to vote for McCain anyway; McCain's selection of Sarah Palin will cinch that and others who were still undecided.

  5. it just shows how nervous and panicky the republican party is so they napped themselves a female. "yeah you're black? well we got ourselves a woman! top that!" Not only is she almost embarrassingly unqualified, they're trying to make women voter (hillarys vsupporters) to go to them when hillarys supporters will always go to barack no matter what because she says so! She's the oppostie of hillary and 100 % republican. pro life, drilling in alaska, higher taxes for the middle class....sigh, poor republicans. I almost feel sorry for them... NOT!

  6. I think Palin is a brilliant choice for VP.

  7. Bill.... it's an asset to Obama. Sarah may be a great lady....but she's not Presidential material at this point in her life. Just doesn't have the strength politically. McCain has killed her politically...he should be ashamed...and she is probably embarrassed!

  8. You are out of your d**n mind!  You are talking about a candidate in Barack Obama whom beat out Hillary Clinton!  She draws curiousity but not votes and McCain had to do something in order to have a fighting chance.  The wow factor is what he needed to at least get some people to pay attention to the RNC convention.  as for trying to steal thunder well if he was gonna do that then he should have tried doing that last night.

  9. Not even close.

  10. Sorry but there is a pretty good chance Mccain will die and the thoughts of her being President is a huge threat!

  11. Yep - Palin is a Splendid choice and she will make a Wonderful VP (and future President)! It just goes to show that McCain is a true maverick, reformer & genius who picks likewise!

    Palin:

    * has the record of the most beloved Governor in the US by her state (Alaska)

    * is a vocal, huge proponent of American energy independence & Alaskan drilling

    * has actually been leading people for the past several while Obama & Biden NEVER have led anyone!

    * shelved her state's pork-laden Bridge to Nowhere that McCain has ridiculed on the trail

    * will join McCain in fighting hard against earmarks

    * is a huge fighter of corruption in Alaska

    * is about as far outside the Beltway as you can get

    * ran on the agenda of stopping wasteful gov't spending

    * is the mother of 5 kids!

    * has had her son deploy to Iraq

    * is for a strong US defense

    * is a widely acknowledged rising star in the Republican party

    * is an ice fisherman

    * is a moose hunter

    * is a small business owner and a lifetime NRA member

All in all, she's a truly fine leader, citizen and patriot - who truly represents Americana (Motherhood & Apple pie)!

    McCain/Palin '08

    Peace

  12. Absolutely not.  She has been the governor of Alaska for less than two years.  She is basically a token candidate.

  13. I totally agree with you.

  14. yes

    Mccain/Palin 2008

  15. I'm proud of a woman coming so far into this Presidency race but fact remains she has considerably less experience compared to Joe Biden. And I'm not voting for George Bush III a.k.a. McCain

  16. Definitely. She has way more experience than Obama if you really look her up and do your own research, but CNN and other stations are never actually going to tell you this.

  17. hes pissing himself with disbelief!

    WHOOP!

  18. Without a doubt!  She has more experience then Obama will ever have.  He voted present on any bills presented with, because he could not make up his mind on where he stood.  She has a 80% approval rating which is unheard of and has kept the tax payers of Alaska's money in their pockets.  She is what we need- she has intergrity, honesty, no affiliations with George Soros, Rev. Wright, the black panthers and the list goes on.  She is not corrupt with the Washington DC BS, and she will bring a long over due reform to Washington DC.  First and foremost she can get rid of the idiots sucking the system dry for their own personal gain like: Pelosi, Reid, Biden, Kennedy ect....    Bye Bye Bye Obama.........  So long, Farwell- oh close the door on your way out!

  19. What McCain doesn't have she has and he can croak before Nov. 4 she is just as qualified if not more than Obama. so he is trying to come up with something to destroy her.

  20. Sarah "Who" had better go back to Alaska before Big Hillary comes after her.  BOO.

Ride her out on a rail

  21. Yes.

She has more executive experience than either Biden or Obama.  End of arguement.  Pres and VP are executive offices.

She's a bigger threat to the "feminist" movement because this pick by McCain lays bare their ugly truth.  They've been complaining forever that they want a woman on the presidential ticket.  Well, now they have one.

This woman has not ridden any political coattails or turned any political favors to get where she is.  She has accomplished all this on her own and maintained an intact family with 5 kids.  Women should be proud of her, making statues of her, be putting her on coins.

But they don't. Their nails and fangs are sharpened.  They're trying to tear her down.  Why?

    One word: abortion.

Hypocrites.  They know pro-abortion is a losing issue, so they've had to connive and disguise it as a woman's only issue.

  22. Your kidding right?

Sarah is under investigation for "abuse of power," and doesn't even know what a Vice President does, let alone a President:

Count Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as one of the most surprised that she was chosen as running mate for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

In an interview just a month ago, she dissed the job, saying it didn’t seem “productive.”

In fact, she said she didn’t know what the vice president does.

Larry Kudlow of CNBC’s “Kudlow & Co.” asked her about the possibility of becoming McCain's ticket mate.

Palin replied: “As for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?

Oh yes, she'll really shake up things as the Vice President.

  23. Excuse me? She has just as much experience as Obama. I do admit that she has 2 years executive experience compared to Obama's little executive experience, but I'm guessing this would backfire. McCain is being sexist by picking a woman just to buy female voters. He's using her as bait, and she herself should be appalled by his actions. This is insulting to the female Clinton supporters

  24. Yes it makes them very nervous, and I see McCain going up in the polls as a result.  However I hate when people say "Hussein" as a derogatory word.  That is unfair just say "Obama" for Christ's sake no normal person says a persons middle name anymore unless its to chastise them.

  25. You really  think Obama's worried about a man who wants to cut the Americans out of America, watch (as Bush did) all the jobs go overseas, stand still and see homelessness rise again, watch silently as tax breaks for the wealthy continue...

Did you watch Obama's speech, Clinton's speech, Michelle's speech, Hillary's speech along with those of the other speakers? Most people just sat there listening to it blandly. I don't how, with him saying that he's going to increase jobs for Americans by closing the loopholes of companies that go overseas, equal pay for equal work, stop the discrimination of insurance companies against the sick that really need health care, etc. What is John McCain's stand on any of these things? He speaks of nothing but Iraq, his service in Vietnam and his tax cuts which can't work while we're tied up in both Iraq and Afghanistan. McCain may have good intentions, but he isn't looking at the real Americans. Some of us work two jobs, go to school / night school / GED course and still have to come home and care for our children. I think it's time to stop pretending that everything is alright and look around and see that American dreams are being shattered every day as companies cut jobs, gas prices rise leaving us at the mercy of the unfeeling MTA which raises their prices to line their pockets but grudgingly inches up the salaries of the workers who do the actual work and education costs which leaves most students either swimming in a pile of loans or unable to continue school at all. Is this the America we want to live in? I don't. I think it's time for the American dream to return to the American people rather than being held just out of reach of our hands. Picking some unknown lady won't help McCain because his policies and ideas aren't going to change to benefit women. Obama obviously took the women into account. Biden supported the Violence Against Women Act, Obama supports his wife while McCain disrespected his and married another woman, Obama supports equal pay for equal work...Why should he be worried about some unknown woman who was just raised from being an unknown-- not because of her hard work but because she's a woman--to being a high ranking person.  Hillary had issues that are important to every American in society.  What does this woman support?  McCain?  A man who sees woman as a stepping stone to power?  No.  I see no reason why anyone should stand on the side of someone (McCain) who will end up harming America despite his "good intentions."  It is time for us to pick someone who is actually qualified for the job. Obama has studied law, he's organized communities in Chicago which shows his good communication and ability to work well with others. This is the type of president we need, not one who questions his opponent's character if he disagrees with them. Not one who has no qualification for foreign policy but an experience that has failed for us time and time again.  We need one who can debate the issues and make rational decisions based on them.
