teaching ONLY s*x abstinence is the way to go ( she was a firm advocate of that)after what happened to her daughter?

What do you think of some of my coworkers that were making fun of Britney Spears sister , but now that Sarah Palin's daughter got knocked up ,will have a child out of wedlock, they said" oh well, you know , everyone makes mistakes, her mother is a role model,we should not criticize .. blah, blah, blah"

Why the politicians expect their failures in teaching children to be private but they have the right to talk **** about other celebrities or whatever?

  1. good point.

her daughter certainly isn't the first to get preggers out of wedlock, but for her mom who would be our vice-prez to be all about "abstinence only" is NOT acceptable.

someone once said "I'm glad my mother told me what would happen if I drank bleach, instead of just hiding it and hoping I wouldn't find it."

  2. I agree with Sarah Palin.....abstinence.

Have we ever taught  or told our children one thing and they have done another....He we been taught one thing by our parents and done the opposite?

We don't have the right to make fun of anybody........."He who is without sin can cast the first stone"

I think it's disgraceful the way the media handles the news of anybodys personal life.  Gossip is sin

  3. the irony of this situation is delicious... living proof that her nonsense doesn't work

  4. 1.No, because she'll seem like a hypocrite.

    2. They're making excuses.

    3. They're hypocrites too.

  5. Palin also doesn't seem to regret having smoked marijuana (and she's proud that she, unlike asthmatic Bill Clinton, REALLY inhaled).  Nor does she regret taking campaign money and earmarks from the same sources as the people she's criticized.

So I find it unlikely that she'd even care that the evidence--both the careful statistics for the population in general, and the underage unwed pregnancy in her own nuclear family--proves that abstinence ed. doesn't work.

  6. Abstinence is still the only 100% percent guaranteed method for preventing STD and pregnancies. No form of birth control is 100% safe. That is a fact. Of course, given that s*x ed is taught in schools, I am sure her daughter new the basics of safe s*x, yet that did not prevent her from getting pregnant.

I do not think that she regrets her position. But this is just my opinion. Anyway, regarding your other questions. It is human nature. I bet everybody is amused at the mistakes of others until it happens to them.

  7. How ironic is it not?

They are a bunch of hypocrites.
