Do you think that US is again sticking its nose in somebody else’s business?

Do you guys think that US should just back off from the Russian-Georgian conflict, and not tell Russia what to do? South Ossetia and Abkhazia want to be independent from Georgian rule and later may be become a part of Russia, but the US is saying that we should not allow it and that it will hurt Russia’s relations with the west. USA wants to hurt its relations with Russia if they are saying that. Georgia bombed South Ossetia, killed two thousand people, Russia stepped in for the South Ossetia, drove Georgian military back, and that makes Russia the aggressor? Wtf? If the USA supports Georgia then why did they not support Saddam Hussein? Saddam did the same thing as Saakashvilli did, and Russia did exactly the same thing as the USA did in Iraq. Just tell me what you guys think about this.

  1. The Russia-Georgia conflict is an international issue.

A lot of people who want the US to keep out of Russia's "business" would love to see the US put its nose into Sudan's "business" over Darfur.  Odd.

  2. You're right.  It odd how so many Americans who had no idea of Georgia or Ossetia suddenly cry out that Georgia is a US ally.  Have they given it any thought?  I'll have to assume not.

Georgia is a particular piece of property isolating Russia from the oil it needs in the Middle East.  They have been trying to get a pipeline through Georgia but Georgia will have nothing to do with it because they have been completely infiltrated by the US with the CIA terrorist group and American military advisers.  Georgia has become another puppet nation of the Americans.

With American advisement and military training Georgia hit the separatist province of Ossetia hard and Russia moved in, not only to stop the killing but to take out some of Georgia's military ordnance.

So now the western media, the great fiction that it is, is blowing up the problems in Georgia and still, pretty much, ignoring the American war crimes in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Americans are trying to set up defensive missile sites along the Russian border.  Along with these missiles will be more American bases, of course.  I wonder how Americans would feel if Russia would do the same with (hypothetically) Cuba, Mexico, Canada, Venezuela.

I wish Americans would try to think things through.

Now Russia is aligning itself with the Georgian separation provinces which, from a world view, looks proper because of the violence Georgia has shown to Ossetia.

Tell me.  Is Bush really trying to start a new cold war for us all?  If you haven't lived through the first one you can believe me, you don't want the second one.

  3. No, not at all. Russia is the one behind all the problems. The whole situation was orchestrated by Russia just like Hitlers invasion of Poland. They set the trap and just happened to be waiting at the border. No, the USA should stand by there friends and stop the Russians before things get worse. Peace

  4. If Kosovo can leave Serbia then South Ossetia can leave Georgia. Any thing other than a standardized set of rules means who ever wins the shooting war is right and Russia won.. Since the USA only plays by the rules when it is to their advantage it must really suck when somebody else ignores them. Russia is not Iraq getting in to a fight with them would be way pass class one stupid.

  5. Republicans always bully defenseless people, Let see this time if they have guts to face Russia.

  6. Russia has been planting people all over their former republics, sent there to cause trouble.  Mother Russia stirs the pot, then sits back and waits for any provocation and then strikes.  Gradually taking more ground and leaving more troups behind (yes we are we retreating, but not really, look at Georgia right now).  It is their grand scheme to regain as much territory and resources as possible.

It is not the same thing as Saddam Hussein.  You do not appear to have any knowledge or recollection of soviet tactics during the cold war, this is textbook USSR.

  7. I think we are right where we need to be.   Georgia is our allies.

  8. This would be like Quebec trying to join the US, and China moving in to provide Canada with support to stop it. In Democratic countries with Democratic provinces, separation is always a possibility. As long as the province has a Democratic majority... it can, and should, happen.

The US isn't looking out for Georgia. They have their own agenda that serves their own interests.

  9. Absolutely we are sticking our noses in someone else's business.  If you had a former state that is very close and another country far away gave them missiles that could be aimed at us, what would we do?  Same as we did in Cuba when Russia was giving them missiles.  How is situation in Cuba with missiles different from us putting missiles in Georgia, right by Russia?

We need to butt out.  We want to put missiles over there, with claim that it is for Iran, but Georgia is near Russia, not near Iran.  God, I hope January comes soon and we are not looking at Bush's 3rd term via McCain.

  10. South Ossetia is South Ossetia BECAUSE the Ossetians preferred to join Georgia when the Soviet Union broke up.  They have spoken.  Ditto for Abkhazia.

Georgia is a member of the United Nations, her territory is defined, and agreed upon by ALL the members of the United Nation, including Russia.

If Russia refuses to recognize Georgia, as defined by the United Nations, Russia should be expelled by the United Nations, and every member state, including the United States, should send troops to KILL every Russian in Georgia, and then keep marching to Moscow and kill every Russian on the way until Russia agrees to quit invading peaceful democratic nations, and if that doesn't happen the entire population should be exterminated as the menace they are, and the territory given to Georgia along with the other former Soviet subject states.

Now, ask me how I REALLY feel......

EDIT:  OKAY, I TAKE IT ALL BACK.  I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG.

IT    SAYS    SO     ON......YOUTUBE    WHAT WAS I THINKING.

WERE YOU BORN A MORON, OR HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING AT IT?
