omg r u serious every1 knows its an act n ppl says it sucks but its honestly at a real high point right now i personally like the attitude era witch ended after the wwf vs wcw and ecw well i think but its like watching a movie every1 knows its fake but its still at times entertaining some movies are good some are alright some are bad like wwe but they actually do get hurt alot of times during the match so that the real part but the fake part is that its scriped n the reason i say its at a high cuz u see all of em things it says during raw n stuff like wwe.com is visted more the nba mlb nfl and nhl.com combined so witch shows ppl are still into it and also the fact that it still sells out with with grown ppl in the front row not that its all kids  just like wat mayapro said

You really need to know a lot like reading the wrestlers autobiographies. The chair shots are real. I believe them cuz once a chair fell on me and it hurt in an odd way. Now imagine them. They're trained wrestlers. If I took it than I do believe them.

The girls put make-up on their photo shoots cuz they have bruises. But the new divas aren't real wrestlers they suck. I'm talking about the old divas like the ones on the videos.

I'm not even a wrestling fan anymore and I feel the need to answer this question.

When you watch a movie, is it 'fake?' Depends on how you classify 'fake.' Its a production, a fantasy- you are watching actors and effects.

Same with wrestling. You don't watch thinking that it is an actual competition, but you apreciate it for what it is, a production consisting of talented athletes, performers and actors.

No major wrestling organization has claimed wrestling to be more than "entertainment" for over 30 years. Even kids 8, 9, 10 years old talk about how certain wrestlers don't know how to "sell" a move, how others are being "pushed", how winners and losers are determined by Vince McMahon and backstage politics, yet they still watch it, why? Because they appreciate it for what it is.
