  1. I just saw Dark Knight last weekend and personally think it's a bit violent for a 9 year old.  Just my opinion.  Haven't seen Step Brothers and have no desire to see it...but if it along the same lines as other Will Ferrell movies, a 9 year old would probably not get some of the humor in some of the jokes.  The jokes also might not be age appropriate.

  2. Well I don't know what that movie is! But if its an R rated or an PG13 rated? Then I don't think its a good idea for an 9 year old to watch that. Movies in that kinda rate...They use alot of bad words that kids should not be hearing yet. And alot of movies show s*x , or s*x jokes, or adut jokes that he won't get! And there is alot of mad killing that can give him night mares. Or worst! May give him idea, to do something like that, even tho he's playing. If he see one guy in the movie stabs another guy. He may think...oh wow I wanna try that!!! Then he will get all these crazy ideas and start using them.

Its like the ond saying.... "Monkey see, monkey do!"

No! If I was that little boy's parent! I would not dare take a 9 year old into thos kinda movies. Take him to a G or PG movie. Thos are ok for 9 year olds and up. But other then that... Just wait until he older!

  3. i dont think step brothers would be appropriate but idk he might like it

  4. Depends on the kid, they're all different. I've only seen Dark Knight... I would have LOVED it at age 9. My son is the same way, he likes scary stuff. My brother, on the other hand would have had nightmares for weeks lol.

  5. I'd say no to the Dark Knight. At 9 years old, kids can understand the concept of violence--and the Dark Knight has plenty of it. I'd definitely wait until he's 13. Movies have these PG-13 ratings for a reason, after all.

  6. The Dark Knight, maybe. He might not fully understand it though.

Definitely not Step Brothers though. Way to vulgar and inappropriate.
