Do you think that a european country (France) needs immigration to balance the low natality ?

As usual in the « immigration » topic right-wing and democrats fought in words and ideas.

What do you think about it ? Is it a real good idea to balance low natality by immigration ?

Population peaks come and go.  The issue should not be resolved with fast talking real estate agents who want to increase revenue with immigration.  

Can the country support the population it has in reasonable comfort?  I think so, but I don't think it can grow its population and sustain its lifestyle.

But strickly speaking: do they need more people?  No.  And far more importantly, do the people want more people?  I would bet they don't.

i been reading for a while about all this  and i believe than any country which doesn't replace its workers will be affected greatly by the lack of them .

my first suggestion to such situation its to bring new workers from third world countries if those countries with aging populations really want to keep their economical and political status in the world .

my second suggestion its to make sure than enough money is being invested ( invested from the first world countries ) in  the education of  every country  from which those immigrants will be or are being brought .

my third suggestion its to promote the values which the people from the first world countries would like to see in the new immigrants not by imposing  those values to the new immigrants  but by being kind to them while being respectful also .

my fourth suggestion is to actually allow some of that decline in population with out letting it go as far as the population fall predicted for countries such as Italy .
