As Sarah Palin gave the most eloquent speech of her career last night, the fans were going wild, she breathed new life into the Republican party with her fresh look and unassuming demeanor. She proved that just because you are going to Washington does not mean that you have to be an empty suit with no substance. She was mayor of her little town, Governor of her state, in charge of a 10 billion dollar budget and did many things to reduce the wasteful spending of the entrenched empty suits in her state legislature.

Barack Obama on the other hand has no resume, no accomplishments, no original ideas, no understanding of the economy, no understanding of security, no understanding of immigration, no nuts and no family background.

After comparing these two individuals, Obama and Sarah Palin, it is obvious why the Liberal media spent so much time and money trying to dig up dirt on her, me thinks it may have backfired on those idiots. The last thing is she has a great looking family and a patriotic family that obviously loves this country, not so Obama.

  1. Why do the Reps, want a rock star so bad? we are trying to find a suitable VP. I think that it is also true that some people are quite delusional, if the teen pregnancy would have been anyone else's (Obama's family) it would have been a whole different set of words written here... I do not think family should be part of the political process but it does bring into question how can you be so conservative and be against s*x education and have the issue her family has. And I am trying to understand as well, how Mr. Obama is an empty suit, with all the no's after, Palin is really no better my cyber buddy, they both have very big shoes to fill, and bashing either one of them is not going to make either party seem better or more equipped. I hope i did not ramble too much...This whole thing is playing out like a made for t.v movie on both sides, its pretty silly, is america really this naive? it's like being back in H.S.

  2. Very well said...Thank you!!!

  3. Eloquence doesn't always mean substance.

  4. So much for the GOP being a white men's only club. We are the new face of the Republican party. I guess old democrats can't handle it.

  5. John G,

Your question demonstrates that you are an educated man. Considering myself to be the same, I would like to make a couple of points. First, you are comparing apples to oranges. Obama should be compared to McCain, and Palin should be compared to Biden. Next, this election seems to be right out of Karl Rove's playbook. Attack, attack, attack. I was disappointed by her speech. Why? There was no mention of health care, what to do from keeping our jobs from going overseas, or any of the pressing issues facing this country. Not one mention of our troubled economy. I have likes and dislikes about all of the candidates. When November comes, I will vote for whoever puts forth the best ideas to address our problems. So far, I still have yet to hear a lot about the issues. As long as we Americans stay polarized, and are motivated by fear to go to the polling booth, I am afraid we will solve nothing.

  6. Sarah Palin is an idiot, with more info being revealed every day to show us just what a real idiot she is. Add to that dishonest and vindictive. Under investigation in Alaska for abusing power. She is not a reformer, she's a typical corrupt Republican, right along with Sen Stevens. Her speech was written for her. Obama writes his own speeches.

  7. Yes. Two points.

  8. I think she's the person we need in washington to get our senators and congressmen off their lazy butts and start doing something for us, the people instead of just themselves.

  9. I see Sarah mud-wrestling with a bikini on made from the american flag.

    Our next president.

    NICE.

  10. She is the rock star, because only rock stars can pull off what she does...teen pregnacy and all. It is Britney Spears all over again.

  11. As a disgruntled Republican, I'm still on the fence on who to vote for in this election. However, after watching Sarah Palin's speech, I was very impressed on what she had to say and how she carried herself. Honestly, I think that she's not qualified to be the leader of the free world, should something happen to John McCain, so I'm just going to say that last night's speech was a great one.
