I posted this under the "Olympics" area as well - but I'd like to hear from those who might know more about space than sports so please respond!

Since astronauts can see the Great Wall - I was wondering if, during that FANTASTIC fireworks display last night, do you think any of the stuff floating around "out there" caught a glimpse of it?

  1. Yes i'm sure they did,and there's a couple of alien space ships taking in the olympic action.

  2. Almost certainly, yes. There are quite a lot of satellites (almost 1000) so one of them is bound to have caught it.

It's actually a myth that astronauts can see the great wall from space. It's too thin for them to see it.

  3. If all that "stuff floating around out there" caught a glimpse of you on the pooper, they definitely caught a glimpse of the Olympics.

  4. I would be very surprised if they didn't.  That was an awesome display and how about the drummer guys, WOW!

I haven't missed an opening ceremony of either the summer or winter olymics ever, since I was a kid!!!
