With the exception of medicine, have we not been moving too fast in the last 100 years? We have all these products and chemicals and things made of plastic and all this stuff and we buy it then we find out it's toxic, or it causes global warming or it depletes the ozone etc. Shouldn't we just slow down and learn and study these products and chemicals that are used in them for a while before we mass sell them to the public? It seems like we end up learning years down the road they were toxic and harmed people? Do we really need to be advancing this fast? I feel we need to keep things in the labs and test them much longer before they are called "safe". What is the hurry with all the new products, if we survived this long without them what's a bit longer going to hurt? I feel we as a society are just a bunch of guinea pigs for all these new products. What do you think?
