Or is that just another utopia, aka the father of all utopias?

  1. I think there are as many answers to the question "What is the meaning of life?" as there are people living on this planet.

To find the meaning of your life, you have to search deep inside yourself - so the only way technology could help people find the answer to this age-old question would be to allow them to actively explore their subconscious.

  2. definetly not. technology will never be able to figure that out. each person has to find their own life meaning. its a spiritual thing, not some secret coded answer. also, someone who spends the majority of their time developing new technology is unlikely to have spare time for soul searching...

  3. the meaning of life is up to you...the fact that we are living today makes me believe there must be God. science has nothing to do with this

  4. Yeah.. Now you can Google "meaning of life" like duh!..

    :D

  5. when we will find or discover  god,we will find the meaning of life,we shall then understand why we are here and what is this all about, and the only way to reach or discover what it is we need more and more technology,i'm not sure if we'll like that meaning (whatever it will be) or not, lets all hope that it is worth.

  6. The meaning of life is a philosophical question that isn't necessarily linked to technology.  Per the book "Utopia" by Thomas More, the society that is described is one that basically shares equally; Finances, work load, parenting, etc.  Basically it is a socialist paradise.  However, More knew a society like that could not exist in the world so that is why he named it "Utopia" which basically means "Not found on Earth".  The reason a society like that doesn't work is because some people have ambition to be better than the next and some people are lazy and don't want to contribute to society.  So, as far as your question goes, the meaning of life is separate from technology and the definition of a Utopia.  Advances in technology does not lead to advancements in the others.

  7. meaning of life is:

    1. to live

    2. do as much out of it before you die

  8. You can only discover things that exist.

There is no meaning to life. We are all just here through an incredible set of circumstances and chance happenings.

We should use technology to make our existence better.
