  1. I like the occasional bath, but that  concern has been around a long time.  If you're not construction-worker dirty when you get in, a bath is OK.  You are definitely cleaner than when you got in.  Anyway, you're cleaner than without a bath at all!

Can you pour a couple of bowls of water over yourself as you get out of the tub?

  2. Hmm...for the most part I think they are pretty gross. If you are looking for a way to bathe without sitting in (as much) filth, then don't plug the drain and keep the water running. I clean my bathtub with the new comet spray gel (awesome product) very often and I try to rinse my kids before bath. Most of the time they just shower with me or my husband because they are toddlers and they can't take showers by themselves yet. But yeah, baths are totally gross unless you have just showered and the bathtub has just been cleaned with a ton of bleach or a product that contains bleach.

  3. It depends on how dirty you are.

If you dont have standing dirt on you, or arent covered in sweat, then you can generally wash in a tub.

If you are so dirty chunks of stuff are coming off, I cant say Id recommend a bath.  If youve ever seen a puddle on field, that shows you what youre pretty much bathing in.

  4. Well, they aren't as clean as FRESH water, but it's still cleaner then not washing at all.

If you're really dirty (say you were working in the garden, and fell in some mud), then you could just wash those bits first, with a wash-cloth, rinse them off, flush the water out, and do it again.

  5. i think that they are comforting and all but i usually take a shower after taking a bath. so it's useless for me. i just do it because it's sort of relaxing and helps your muscles when they're sore.

  6. It is dirty, regardless of what I think.

One thing you could do is to RINSE yourself before you finally dry.

This way yeah you did soak in your dirt and Sh** but at least your did rinse it all off before drying.

  7. I personally think Yes bath water is nasty who wants to rinse with dirty water.

  8. My Dad used to say, "taking a bath is like stewing in your own dirt."

It depends on who you are I guess. There are options however, you may wish to purchase a hand held shower head. You attach it to the faucet and use it just as you would a detachable shower head. If you are fighting a landlord to put in a shower, he may even buy it for you!

  9. OMG YES lol showers unless i have to shave.

idk what id do without a shower in my house...

  10. I think they are gross, you are just sitting in the filth you are 'washing' off of yourself. If I take bath it is more to relax and then I rinse off with the shower after.

  11. Yes I do. I was staying at a friends house and they only had a tub, I was annoyed because I see bathing as sitting in your own filth. And once you get up all of that soup residue is still on your skin, its pretty nasty. Sorry hun! You should find out if theres anyway to install a shower head.

  12. its clean if you clean your tub before taking a bath..if its already dirty when you decde to take a bath..thats gross...PLUS..you don't have to take a bath sitting down you can get like a bucket fill it with water and get another bucket to scoop the water and pour it on your body..yeaaa thats what i had to do when i went on vacation..where there were no showers=(

  13. bathwater from a dirty tub can cause UTI's in women.  Make sure to clean out your tub before filling it with water.
