  1. h**l yer!!! you are either parcticing proforming or sleeping mabey eating and drinking when you have the time!!!

it is also mentally demanding always trying to be the best!!!

its a tough world out there

  2. Yes I do. The career span for a professional dancer is not very long because of the fact that it's so hard on the body.

  3. h**l ya it is its a very physical job and effort to be a dancer

  4. I would say in every respect that it is, because, especially in ballet, it is very tough on your feet and, if not performed correctly, can permanently stunt or alter growth and give the dancers unbelievable problems with the back, legs, alignment, and neck.  Other than that, it requires a copious amount of stamina and tries the brain to remember choreography and keep the body in line perfectly every time the dancer does a step and does it correctly so as to not hurt the body.  I would say absolutely it is.  If you're looking into professional dancing, keep in mind that it's no picnic.

  5. Of course it is, I think that dance is one of the best ways to loosen up and lose weight. Most dancers have bodies that are rock hard and flexible and they are full of energy. Believe me they don't just get that they work hard for that and it pays off. Anyone that would ask this I would suggest try dancing for an hour not even an hour. Watch your favorite video or a dance work out tape and try it. You'll be surprised that within the first few minutes most people are already out of breath. Not as easy as most dancers make it look.

  6. Yes.

  7. Of course it is!  How many overweight professional dancers have you ever seen?
