Do you think that bullies should be punished or helped to be better people with more appropriate social skills

I think bullies need to be helped

phsycology says that most bullies are the way they are because of family problems or they themselves have been picked on, eventually in life they will learn that by picking on others it wont get them very far.

in some cases a social worker is needed, to find what is causing the issues in the house, or lifestyle of a bullies family.

its a sad realization, but most people don't understand, if you have a friend who you know is hurting or being hurt by someone do not me afraid to step up for what is right.

Well honestly, knowing somebody who was bullied out of schol I think that bullies should be beaten within an inch of their lives. The thing that gets to me is that bullies aren't even tough, the bullies I know refuse to look at me because I give them death stares. So yeah I think that bullies should be punished

Bullies are people with inappropriate behavior.  Bullies need help and are probably afraid to admit it.

I think the people who get bullied should learn how to defend themselves!! And its just natural selection, The weak die off and the strong survive.

Both.  Bullies should face the consequences of their behaviour and should have to watch documentaries of children who have been haunted and traumatized by bullies.  Some kids go way too far in their bullying.  YES, some kids should get tougher skin but, we are not all built alike and we must help those who can't help themselves.  

Having said that, maybe some bullies can't help themselves and yes, we should help them too.  I believe we can teach bullies empathy and I believe we can help them become better people.

Then there are the kids who are just going to have to live in juvy.  You can't help those who don't want to be helped.
