  1. I do believe that some day in the future families will have their own little flying mobile.

  2. yes i do       way in the future

  3. maybe, if humans dont destroy earth first, but they wouldn't be called cars then

  4. It's not so much a technology problem right now as it is a legal problem (think about how car accidents, dui's would have to be investigated if they happened in the sky). It's also a fuel problem. If they can perfect self-navigating cars and a good alternative fuel, make these cars cheap, and infrastructure (airspace) in which we can drive, it might be feasible. Given the plummeting IQ's of Americans and the way lawyers make sure to "pad every wall" (straight-jackets, anyone?), the prospect looks pretty grim, though. Think about a traffic accident in the sky over a crowded suburban area, too.

  5. I hope not.

I been waiting for a flying car - ever since I saw them on Pop mechanic (mid 80's).  Then I took some flying lessons.  Flying is NOT driving.  It is completely serious business.

I would hate to see people who don't take driving serious now get into "flying cars" and take to the sky and end up with "fender benders" because they won't yield.  Except in the sky planes (flying cars) fall out of the sky in to our living rooms - instead of pulling over.

    Good Luck...

  6. It's been done. They are called aeroplanes now. Flying cars proved to be too complex to be practical. An aeroplane and a rental car are cheaper and more practical.

  7. I think that cars will fly some day but I'm hoping that people will solve more urgent problems like global warming, endangered animals, and pollution first.
