  1. No, class comes from the heart.

Edit: Let me elaborate, Class is giving of your self, and asking nothing in return. It's conducting yourself as a gentleman/lady when others would push you towards acting otherwise.

  2. Depends on what you call class.  I have met many people who have lots of money and no class at all.  If you mean social status.  Yes they mean the same.

  3. Not always...I meanto a certain degree yeah.

Where I live we have a lot of white trash neighborhoods and we have a lot of working class neighborhoods.  There is a big difference.

Being white trash is a lifestyle choice.  For some reason these people do not believe in soap or know how to clean their house and yard.  Their kids kids run around in diapers all dirty and they tend to do stupid things like own pitbulls.

A working class neighborhood is a neighborhood of modest, clean houses.  These are people who make as little money as the trashy people, but they use soap and know how to clean and mow.  They also keep an eye on their kids and raise them to be upstanding citizens.  These people are much classier than the latter.

  4. well victoria beckham has money- does she have class, shes just a sad essex girl

  5. Absolutely not. Class is a thing that comes from the inside, it has to do with being a good person. I know people that have so much money they don't know what to do with it, yet they have no class, and are very mean people. On the other hand, you have people that are considered poor, have little money, but are the most generous and warm people you'll meet- which is what i consider to have class.

My own uncle, for instance, has a nice house, lives in the suburbs, drives a $50,000 car, goes on several cruises a year- but let me tell you: He has no friends, is rude, impolite and racist. That is not my understanding of class, although he is considered 'upper class' in our society.

For me a classy person is someone who is polite, considerate, helpful, educated and honest- as far as I'm concerned, content of wallet doesn't matter.

  6. nah

  7. Not exactly.  You can marry money and achieve class in the same step.  Many adopted children have money and live in high class until grown, and the adoptive parents disown them.  Class can be achieved by the company that you work for if you will lean toward the big dogs with decisions.  You might even get a little money out of the deal!
