Do you think that contemporary believe in god is the rise before the fall?

since no one really needs to believe in a god/s es/ess, will theism eventually be replaced by in increase in our own self awareness. rather than the need to hide behind a god figure.

Yes, we will become gods.  Who is hiding?  If you have spent any time on this site you are well aware that Christians are not hiding at all.  My believe in God proves my existence.
