  1. Declan Kidney should not become Ireland manager because of his time at Leinster. The simple fact is that appointing him risks alienating all the senior Leinster players, possibly to retirement. This is not what Ireland need right now. They are enough good coachs out there without hiring this muppet.

The only positive I can see in his appointment is perhaps that BOD will deck him out again.

  2. Surely you mean Munster...yes , if they are looking for an Irishman, he is the best qualified, tho Michael Bradley might be a good outside bet.

  3. kidney should get the job and is certainly qualified..they need a good irishman in there to straighten them out

  4. yes, because all the other superior (and also foreign) coaches have ruled themselves out e.g Jake White and Pat Howard. If he's made coach, he's the boss - who cares if the players don't like him, as long as they obey him? He shouldn't (in my opinion) get the job beacuse we need a fresh start. Kidney used to be Irish assistant coach and he's caoched Munster, Ulster and Leinster. The major problem with the old system was that it went stale - we need a fresh start with completely new ideas

  5. Yes...he told me he would..

  6. I think he's great for Munster, but would be a disaster for the Irish team - he is not nearly qualified enough to motivate that, to quote my brother, 'useless shower' at the moment!

They need a thorough shake-up ... O'Driscoll et al. have not been performing well and should spend a good while on the bench to watch and learn from the likes of Luke Fitzgerald, Jamie Heaslip etc. who have got drive, energy and enthusiasm.

  7. no

  8. Possibly but I also think that Mike Ruddock has a chance. Worcester are struggling and he has coached in Ireland before.

  9. He is the best candidate and if he doesn't get the job because of what happened at Leinster then it highlights the idiotic nature of the I.R.F.U. Though from a Munster perspective I hope he doesn't as then who will coach Munster?

  10. Only Jesus would know a thing like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
