  1. No, but I think that you restrict yourself.

Every time you say "I can't", it is not only to the people you are talking to, but also to yourself..

Instead I say "I won't", because that way I tell myself that i have the choice, and the strength to choose it.

  2. ...YES...

...why short change yourself...hire someone else...to do it...

  3. No. It should not be so easy to dim our wonderful inner light.

  4. my answer would be no. what if by saying "i can't", you've helped someone.

  5. probably.

  6. No but we close a door to a part of the world we should conquer .

  7. yeah, so don't do it

  8. I like this question!   A brain teaser!  I think it depends where you feel this light originates.  If it is of your own, then this is a strong possibility.  However if this light is from a higher source, then no, I don't believe that it does.  It also depends on the amount of tenacity and self-esteem one has to get back up and try again! :D  Blessings!

  9. really it depends. if you say ´I can´t draw` then you are dimming your inner light. if you say ´I can´t build a plane right now´ mostly means you don´t know how. and if you say ´I can´t eat this´ cuz if you do it´ll like kill you(like some people are deathly alergic to peanuts)

you can do anything you want to, but some times you don´t know how to, or really aren´t capable of doing like lifting a house right at this very moment. I don´t say I can´t very often. mostly when I don´t know how to

  10. yes

  11. When I was a child I used to told "there's no such word as can't" well, no there isn't because it is short for 'can not'. There are times when I seriously CAN NOT do a certain thing which others CAN do so I think it perfectly valid to say I cannot do it. Likewise, just because some people wish to do certain things and therefore do do them, I also have the right to say I WON'T (or, if you prefer, will not) do it. Human beings are not all alike and we all have the right to say I cannot or I will not when those words are appropriate. By having the courage to say them when others might just follow like sheep even when they don't really want to we show more strength and individualit than those who are people pleasers just for the sake of it.

  12. yes.

  13. It depends.  It may also be an admission that reality limits us.  I believe a positive attitude works to make our lives better, but there are definite limits on what we can do and we are best served when we recognize those limits.  Knowing them can also be a powerful tool in circumventing them--which is often a better course of action than trying to directly overcome them.

I rarely say "I can't."  When I do it is because something is impossible, or inadvisable or simply not a good idea.  When I do I try to present an alternative of some kind.

    Good question.

  14. it is the other way around

because of dimmed inner light we say "I can't"

    love

    Pluto

  15. I can't can be replace with

    "I won't"

    or

    "I don't know how"

I can't is a very disempowering way of thinking that can be easily changed.

  16. it depends! like anything else does! in many situations you must say i can't if you don't want to dim your inner light and in many situations its the reverse.

  17. finding our limitations plays important part

    in developing who we are

  18. Depends on what we say "I can't" to.

  19. i do

  20. I think by saying "I can do it" it gives us a sense of confidence and belief in ourselves/abilities.  I think over time when we feel defeated it definitely dims the spirit. And I also believe we can go through different periods in life where we walk between the two feelings.

  21. Yes absolutly we change our reality and energy by what we say, speak & think! We can control our own destiny by keeping our words anf thoughts in check! Please read this article for more info!
