  1. yes very much so...

No matter how much good you do for people

they always stab you in the back...some people

in these horoscope section also, you think they

are your friend but they are only pretenders and

    fake losers.

  2. Hi Kelly,

No, I think that all people are actually looking for what I may call "ideal environment"...Nevertheless, the sense of every kind of insecurity these days has been heightened so while their initial intention is to "be a friend", most people have to find ways to protect themselves from unwanted experiences...consequently, resembling a hostile person while in fact it is only a self-defense thing.

I believe all people are looking for love...and love is not selfish so I'm inclined to believe that no one wants to be out for him/herself.

Sometimes all you have to do is make the first step...There is no better invitation to love than your loving first =)

  3. No, but some of the people I have been around my whole life are selfish.

  4. I think a majority of us have the intentions to help others out, but first and foremost we ourselves come first.

That does not have to mean that we are all self centered, but when it comes down to it we all have our own personal agenda.

When we like some one we expect them to like us back and cannot understand why they wouldn't. We are so sub conciously absorbed in our own feelings sometimes, that it can take hold of us in a some what irrational way. Does that  make sense? I mean they say to always follow your heart..but what if thats not always a good idea? I think that almost everyone is def out for themselves.

I do not find anything wrong with living your life for yourself. Just don't get too self absorbed in yourself that you lose touch with others.

  5. Nope. I don't think EVERYONE is out for themselves.

I'm not, you're not, so hey. And there are plenty of people out there that are out there for others.

Sure everyone wants success, and everyone wants to do good for their selves, but no, I don't think that.

  6. YES!!!

I totally think so, and am very sick of it.

I sometimes just don't even want to leave the house anymore, I can't believe how people act anymore. Even just driving down the road is unreal. People only care about themselves and don't seem to realize that there is a whole world going on around them. Going to the store anymore is h**l, people just think they are the only person in the whole place. I don't know what happened. Seems like people just don't teach their children manors anymore. Or how to treat others. I was taught at a very young age, treat others how you want to be treated, I am 30 now and have tried very hard to do that. I do my best to please and put a smile on others faces that i come in contact with. I also take care of myself too. I understand when you say you do more for others in a way that is detrimental. I sometimes do the same. and usually wind up getting hurt, as no one is even gratefull anymore. even for the simplist things where a simple thank you would suffice.

I wish people weren't this way, but i run into it every day. But I don't let it change the way i am. I still continue to give, and treat anyone around me with respect and courtesy. The few who do appreciate it, give me a good feeling.

  7. Hi Kelly,

Virgos can be martyrs.  It has to do with Pisces being our polarity point.  Those two signs are most likely to give til it is detrimental to themselves.  I'm talking risings and moons too.  I've done.  I've been taken advantage of but all things considered,  I'd rather be me than them.

I think the world is set up in such a way that many people have to be out for themselves who otherwise wouldn't be.   I imagine it is hard to give to others when you have very little yourself.   I'm talking financially and emotionally and morally.  I think that describes most people whether they even realise it themselves.  So many of us were raised by parents who experienced the Great Depression.   Often they developed a hoarding mentality like they were trying to prevent such a thing from ever happening again.   I'm not sure where I'm going with this. lol  Mainly I think it is a very serious societal problem that has far reaching causes and future ramification that most don't consider.

  8. No, I don't; but it sure feels that way sometimes.

  9. I think in some ways, we have to be. I have a family and I do what i need to make sure I am healthy and strong for them.

In some ways I feel I have to put myself first but it's always for the sake of others....what would happen if I didn't take care of myself and it effected my family in a negative way...?

I am not out for myself, however, in the sense that I am thoughtless and careless of others...

  10. Sometimes I feel that way, when I'm driving to work and there's some jerk pushing me around, or when I'm shopping and some big hulking mass of soccer mom is running me over with her cart....

But then I go take care of my horses, and talk to the old guys at the American Legion, or chat with a friend online and realize that not everyone is like that...

and that helps me keep from becoming like the people who are.

    Venus in Cap

    Moon in Aquarius

    Mars in Pisces.

  11. When it comes to survival, I think most people are out for themselves.  You have to survive, right?  But when it comes to everyday living, there are still a lot of people out here who love to give to and help others.  There are people out here who try to protect others as much as they can by at least taking the blinders off of those who aren't seeing right.  Not everyone is totally selfish.

  12. Yes, everyone is out for themselves...
