No they are not for weaklings, they are just in the wrong hands, if they didn't have guns they would use knives and so on.  I see your point though.

Law enforcement officers (cops)

Military personnel

Me when I'm being attacked in my home

You when you are being attacked in your home

Guns are for people who have intelligence enough to know how to use them & to use them only if no other alternative is available.  

I will tell you this, if guns are outlawed, then only the outlaws will have guns.  Sad.

well if gangs didn't have guns they would do the same thing they did back in the day kill people with crowbars and brass knuckles they have guns because its easier to kill someone from 100 yards away than eye to eye that's why the army upgraded from muskets to sniper rifles and guns aren't for weaklings where i'm from you can be a victim or you can lock and load and i have heard people say well instead of a gun why not get a bulletproof vest it can save your life and not hurt any body well if you wear a vest and dont have a gun your called a moving target
