Do you think that hughesnet is worth it. will it work. cuz i dont get dsl at my place?

me n my family want to get internet at my house but we dont get dsl at my house. so wll hughesnet work. its like 400.00 to install so is it worth it?

Check out a wireless connection through a cellular provider first.  Verizon wireless has a good data plan that can used in most of the US.  It's usually a lot cheaper both per month and also for set up fees.

Check out consumer reports too. They had a great article I think in February issue rating high speed connections.  I don't think they included cell carriers in that rating system though.

You should shop around other dish providers.  400 seems quite steep to me.
