I was thinking since over time people say hurricanes are occuring more often that maybe someday if someone says hurricane people will start thinking ohh no big deal just another hurricane. I dont know how to explain it, i mean i hope it wouldnt be like nobody cares but i was just asking do you think they are going to start occuring alot more often overtime?

  1. Well you cant compare a 150 mile an hour storm that floods and blows houses away to a simple rainstorm. There will always be damage, losses, and a huge deal over them. And I read somewhere the number of hurricanes are actually going down each year? Don't remember my source though

  2. hurricanes occur more now than they did 40 years ago but hurricanes have been occurring more than ever due to our global warning and other weather problems and if you don't live in areas where hurricanes affect you than you don't really care this is not the first hurricane to post a threat to the gulf coast neither was Katrina but people don't hear about them till they turn out like Katrina I have lived on the gulf coast since i was born and i have ran from hurricanes since i can remember and 2005 hurricane season was pretty average and so is this year
