Do you think that i could start to curl even though i have never curled in my life at age 14?

2 time briar finalist Guy Hemmings didn't start curling until his late 20's.

I started at 19, and curl competitively (although not at that level yet)

You can start curling at any time in your life, but it'll probably take at least a couple years of coaching and playing regularly (twice a week) to get to where you can be competitive at a junior level.

guys, i think hes looking for a more specific answer, not a ''you can do anything you set your mind too'' sorta thing.. now, i honestly couldnt answer your question with any assurance, but id say around 14 is the time most people would start something like that. anything much younger couldnt hand the huge stones..kidney stones!! <--''Friends'' reference, i dont actually find humor in kidney stones

This a GREAT age to start... Most curling rinks have a league for people of your age group... There will also be people with years of curling experience to help coach you in the basics...

Wow, you are still so young.  Get out and enjoy curling.  You can never be too old or too young to start playing.

Sure you could i started when i was 10. I love to curl and try to go twice a week. The earlier you start the more competitive you can be later. Starty as soon as you can.

Sure you can. At age 14, you can choose anything you want! You have your whole life ahead of you and do what you choose. You just need to find a place to curl
