  1. I dont think so. The 800 Duc seems to suit the riders fresh from 250's and the veterans dont seem to be able to handle it (Capi, Barros) Look at Marco, hes not doing as well as I thought he would. That said, I would love to see Vale on a Ducati, just to see...

  2. Considering that motorcycles racing is considered to be 90% rider 10% bike I would say no.

Rossi is the man no matter what bike he is on.

Girlie Racer - Are you serious?  Rossi doesn't ride Ducati because he doesn't like it or it isn't worth his ****?  How about they didn't pony up the money like Yamaha did; if they had he'd be riding red.

  3. No - I don't - he'd be nearly 50 in twenty years time - he'd have to get a couple of his Brazilian beauties to lift him on and off the bike! (Once all his old injuries started to play him up) LOL

Like Proc pointed out - I think the Duke/Stoner combination is a match made in heaven and not every riders (Melandri?) style will suit such a raw machine.

Mind you - looking at those bikes under the floodlights - how could you call them "raw" They all (especially the Duke) looked feckin' awesome!!

  4. No he would not. I agree with Cheryl h the bike suits the younger 250 guys. I think everyone is underestimating just how good Stoner is. all through winter testing he has stood out above the rest. the fact that Marco cant get near him, and by his own words "we might as well all go home now" tells us how good Stoner is. putting Rossi and Stoner on the same Machinery is still an open Question as to who would be quicker. Valentino is the greatest ride of our times. in the same class as Doohan ETC.  But Stoner make the Ducatti look quick not the Ducatti making Stoner look quick.

So my answer again is NO.

  6. You what - Listen there's a reason that Rossi don't ride Ducati !!

If Valentino is the worlds greatest rider, but he don't ride a Ducati - Then obviously a Ducati ain't worth his **** !!??

Come on Gezzer - Japanesse Bikes

But Hey, what do I know ...

    ... I'm just a Girl. X x X

PAPINHO - SORRY TO POINT OUT BUT 'DROVE' NOBODY DRIVES A BIKE ! THERE RIDDEN LOVE !!!! x*x (No offence intended)

  7. Girl Racer has a point. There is a reason for Rossi not to be riding a Ducati.

I, personally, believe that if he was riding an Italian bike, he would be unbeatable. But then again, Rossi knows what he is doing. And the Yamaha and Honda bikes are not that bad, are they?

  8. Record breaking ?

I think he's done a pretty good job of breaking most of them without a Ducati. !!

  9. Rossi+Ducati= 100% Italian

I am surprised you were able to ask this question without an insult

    impressive

  10. Anyone who drove Ducati from last year would have won, but yep definetely Rossi would of be the best, except for Baros! :D
