  1. No problem. I didn't pick up a racquet for a whole winter and came back to playing just as well as i was before the next summer.

  2. You can easily catch up on your game.

  3. oh not not at all! for one thing muscles have memory. and they will remeber the work they did playing tennis.. i have known people who skiped a whole season of playing tennis.. they are ok..

    and so will u...

  4. No, in fact the Russian academy that has produced an inordinate amount of profession players does not even let kids play matches until they have been practicing fundamentals for years and years.  Studies have shown that learning these fundamentals and practicing them is often more important than playing matches.  Also, studies have shown that often people who visualize themselves playing for a week or so will do better in their next match than those who have been practicing in that week.  I would work on  your fundamentals hitting against a wall and practice visualizing successful strokes and shots and you will find that can add to your game when you go out and play and practice the next time.

  5. If you've only been playing for a month, it shouldn't be too bad. You probably haven't gotten into the harder stuff that you could be rusty on.

  6. For me, I have played tennis for about 2 years, when I came back from a two week break it took me like a week to get back to gear.

  7. Not a good idea. U might lose the feel of your strokes and your style of play. I know when I skip a week and come back my game is all messed up so I wouldn't reccomend it.

U should still practice on the wall though.

  8. no but sometimes i find if that i have been on vacation for like 2 weeks here i couldnt play the next time i would play it seemed id be hitting great!!!
