Ok well im 16 years old & i have never had a boyfriend or a first kiss, I'm afraid to use tampons because i don't know were they go....

never having a boyfriend or a first kiss is fine and absolutly nothing to worry about...

But not knowing where a tampon goes isnt naive nor innocent its plain idiodic...at 16 you should have atleast some sexual education.

tampons are easy to use.. buy a packet and they have instructions or go to libragirl.com.. or beinggirl.com i think it is.

I think that you are 16... and thats pretty average for that age. I only started using tampons at that age because i was in softball and it was just more comfortable to play in...There is a diagram in the box showing where it goes. It takes a few tries to get it comfortably. Only use them when you are ready...and using tampons doesnt make you any more or less innocent or naive. Not having a boyfriend isnt that wierd for that age...at 16 boys can be really shy and may just be afraid to ask you. Things happen according to when you are ready, not by the age you are. and there is nothing wrong with not being ready for those things.

Don't worry about it, if your not ready or interested in that than don't worry. As for tampons, use them when you feel ready.

No, I'm 16 too and I have never had a boyfriend or a first kiss, so you are not the only one. Its just for when you're ready, not really depending on how naive you are. As for the tampoin thing, I was scared at first because I didn't know HOW to put it in, and I guess I was a little nervous about sticking it in the wrong hole. But the other two holes wouldnt allow it in anyway, and just feel for the middle, its around there. Here are some instruction about how to put one in, so dont worry:

Their MUCH better than pads. If you insert it correctly, you wont be able to feel it. :)

And I'd say you'll find the right person to give that first kiss to. I wasn't allowed to DATE until I was 16.. But, didn't stop me from the kissing! hehehe!

you're fine. i'm 16 and i have s*x, use tampons, drink, smoke, whatever, but that doesnt mean that i'm more mature than you in any way. i agree with whoever said you're average. it's like a choice you know?

Well.. there are only two entries where you can put a tampon.. I'm telling you , one isn't one of them so I'm sure you know where it goes =)  

If YOU think you're naive or too innocent, just try them. I didn't try them until I was 21 and honest to God, I don't know how I did without them for so long!

As for not having had a boyfriend or kissed, that's nothing to worry about. Eventually, you'll find the right person and you'll be glad to have waited this long to experience it. It will make it so much more special.

Beside, a lot of young women aren't even allowed to date at 16, so don't worry about it! I think you're fine! :0
