  1. Absolutely fair, they should have left earlier.

  2. Should have left the house early..

Why should other drivers be at risk because you are not punctual?

  3. Hey when ya gotta Peed, ya gotta peed!

  4. No. When people are in a hurry they should be able to go as fast as they want. It's not their fault they left to late to get there without peeding.

  5. No, it isn't fair, but it's the law. It's your responsibility to leave early enough that you can drive safely and still arrive on time.

How dumb would it be dying in a car accident on the way to the Doctor's office?!

  6. Yes it's fair that you got a ticket. When you drive you're not alone on the road, and by speeding you are endangering others. I see it all the time here in los angeles. Cars come zooming down this street and cause accidents, they run red lights or rear end other cars.

  7. Yes, you have to organize your time better.

  8. NO

its not fair Those Stupid Cops

if its a doc's appointment then no they shouldn't get a ticket

  9. Not only should you get a ticket they should triple the fines for tickets and if you ever get more than 2 tickets in a 3 year span you should lose your driver's license. When you speed you endanger others and put their lives at risk. Just because you are a self centered jerk who can't get your life together enough to arrive on time doesn't give you the right to endanger innocent people.

  10. No, unless it was a medical emergency you cant get out of it. Some have sued their police departments and won huge liability suits since there was medical emergencies the cops simply ignored. If youre attempting to weasel out of getting  a ticket, tough! Try obeying the law next time and leaving earlier.

  11. The law is the law.  Agree or disagree if you break the law

and get caught.......its your fault.  One must take responsibilty for their own actions.

  12. Or course it's fair, the rules of the road are not subject to change due to where the driver is headed.

Although I'm not so sure about "peeding"...and not sure I want to know.

  13. I could see how you might be excused if you were on the way to a hospital emergency room with a valid emergency.

But on the way to a doctor's appointment - that you know about ahead of time?  Give me a break......

  14. You have no right to endanger other people because you are in a hurry, and lets face it with most doctors even if you get there on time you have close to an hour wait. Solution call the docs office while you are parked if its a cell tell them you are half an hour late so you will be getting there half an hour early!

  15. Doing that in public is illegal and if the cop just gave you a ticket you're lucky.

  16. Way I see it, when you get a ticket take it and pay the fine. Dont fight it. Think of all the other times you got away with speeding and didnt get caught. Sometimes your number just comes up, thats the way it goes.

  17. Not that "fair" has anything to do with anything. except to announce a level of immaturity, but of course it is.

First, a lack of adequate planning does not constitute an emergency. There are people in the world who actually leave early, plan in extra time for unforseen circumstances, and plan to get to their appointments early.

Second, speed limits are not arbitrary numbers. They're there for safety reasons, and whatever positive results you might get from your doctor's appointment may be more than offset by the negative health consequences to you or others from a car wreck in which your speeding is a contributing factor.

Third, the law is the law. If you choose to speed, you should be willing to pay the fine. Think of it as a simple business transaction, if nothing else.

  18. You can't be serious...

  19. Absolutely! You've got to be kidding right? The speed LIMITS are set for a reason. The first being safety and the sec Wait !!are you kidding? Try leaving a little earlier. Are all three of your questions like this one?

  20. Are you joking? Life isn't fair...you'll learn that real soon....hopefully
