  1. it would help his votes...BUT SHE SHOULD NOT BE VP!

  2. i think it would be the worst thing obama could do to have Hillary as VP. i personally Will leave this country because it would be a night mare. with all the lies Hillary has said its a wonder why she made it so far.

  3. I dont think it's a question of will Obama agree to letting HIllary be his V.P.

There are many Hillary supporters who have stated they will not vote for Obama, so I'm sure that he assumes that if he selects Hillary as V.P. he may sway those voters.

I think it's more of a question if she agrees.

She may simply say no and hope that McCain get's elected so she can run again in 2012.

Or she may agree to be his V.P.

It's all up in the air right now.

  4. It would be kinda comical. Could you just imagine Miclelle Obama and Bill Clinton hanging around the Whitehouse?

  5. Yeah,if he wants any chance at winning the presidency.Do you have any idea how many Clinton supporters are not going to vote for him(a lot say they'll vote for McCain) ? It's really his best bet, although Obama supporters don't want him to do that. But he seriously needs her supporters' votes, and anybody else who says otherwise is a complete moron.

  6. Thank you for saying what I have been saying all along.  Change is not always a good thing.

I am not an Obama supporter simply because I disagree with his economic policy, and although McCain would not be MY choice as the Republican nominee, he's all we've got. Ideally I would vote for someone who is socially liberal but economically conservative. Obama has the right idea on social issues, but for me the economy is first on my list of concerns.

That said, I think Obama would be hurting himself by selecting Clinton, but he's in a catch-22.  If he doesn't choose Clinton, he risks losing a good part of the Democratic electorate who swears that they would rather vote for McCain or stay at home rather than vote for Obama. On the other hand, if he does accept her as his running mate, he risks appearing weak and willing to cave to pressure, definitely a bad quality in a president. I don't know what I would do in a similar situation, but neither option looks good.

In response to the answerer who responded that all politicians lie, that may be true but Senator Clinton takes it to a pathological level, and at this point, I don't believe she is capable of telling the truth or even knows what the truth is.  One moment she's dodging sniper fire in Bosnia, the next she's a feminist icon, the next she's sitting next to Bubba in a bar in West Virginia watching football.  She's like a windsock, she's got nothing inside, no ideas or positions of her own.  She vacillates with the wind and will be whatever the next poll says she should be.  I know a lot of people hate George Bush, but at least the man has ideals and convictions he believes in, I'm not sure you can say that about Mrs. Clinton.

  7. I hope he does. I think it would be smart if you have both of them together as a team.

  8. I don't think Clinton will be VP, which is great news for the Republican party, because the Democrats will stay divided and will continue to fight amongst themselves.

  9. I think you are hilarious. Obama has lied too! He is just as bad as any other politician. Obama needs Hillary as a Vice President so he can get the democratic votes. I have a feeling that McCain MAY win if he does not choose Hillary.

  10. Hard to say, I can see pros and cons to either way.  Having Clinton as  VP might mean getting a lot of Clinton votes.  Though some say Clinton wants to run on 2012 so she won't want the VP spot.  And who knows, maybe she wants the VP spot in case something happens to Obama, like she keeps bringing up.

  11. I don't think he will...she will try to take over the same way when Bill was in office. I don't think it would be a smart thing to do.

  12. I think there is too much controversy already and he will not want to pick someone that could overshadow him.

Personally I think Al Gore should be back as VP

Mrs Clinton would be a smoking Attorney General

  13. I don't think Clinton will be the vp.  I think they want somebody else.  I could see Clinton supporter Wesley Clarke as a possibility.

    democrats 2008

  14. Obama has to think strategically.  Democrats have lost the south the last two presidential elections.  He's from IL and he should choose someone from the south.  NY is going to vote Democratic anyway.  FL in particular MUST feel represented and part of the process.  Many Floridians feel that all of their votes weren't counted in 2000 and now they feel the same after this year's primary.  They need to feel included.  Florida is a swing state.  It can go either way.  But Obama has promised change for the last 16 months.  He can't very well have H.Clinton as his running mate if his platform is change.  He may also alienate the youth craze that has frenzied around him if he chooses Clinton.  So, if he's smart he should choose Florida Senator Deborah Wasserman Schultz.  She's young like he is, she was a Clinton supporter so they should fall in line behind Obama if she does, AND, lastly, you know McCain is going to choose a woman VP, probably Olympia Snowe (from Maine) to attract female voters to his court.

That will be especially effective if Obama doesn't choose a female VP.  Besides, all of the NE US from NY up went to the democrats in the last two presidential elections.  So McCain will try to win some ground in the NE.

    Obama and Wasserman Schultz 2008.

  15. Clinton will not be his VP. She would outshine him

  16. I don't think that Clinton as his Veep would be a good idea.  She would be constantly stepping on his toes and acting like she is actually in charge.

It's not change she is after, it is power.    She has proved that every time she was caught lying.  That's not change.

  17. ew ----obama --great !!((sarcasm)) maybe ill leave america in hopes of a better leader

  18. no he won't, yes it would.
