Do you think that office ( work ) etiquette is lacking? ?

Do you do anything about it or just think your colleagues are ignorant?

1.) I had one co--worker hand out invitations to a party at her home. She did so in front of other's who weren't invited.

2.) I had my big boss go around and collect $$$ for her other senior manager when this lady got married for the 3rd time. It was pushed to "give from the heart" to a woman who makes 2-3 x than most of her employees.

3.) My birthday was ignored, but the gal who's bday was on my same day got 3 cakes. ( our birthday calendar in the office is in plain view )

4.) I was told that my employees are paid so well as they "want the good ones"... I recently found out that I make $1 more than 2 of them.

5.) I had one coworker who lifted the napkin on my partially eaten lunch.. to see what was under there and yes.. she almost took a chicken wing off of it in front of me.

6.) That same employee brings food to our morning meetings and proceeds to l**k.. things.. like her fork, the inside of the syrup container, or salad dresssing container.. she cooked oatmeal once and it went all over the bowl.. she scooped it off with a spoon and ate it anyway.

Seriosuly, at what point do you say.. "you are gross?"

  3. Totally agree - it's sad to say that most office enviorments have been slacking in regards to professionalism...
