Do you think that one day the EU will become a unified country?

Like 'the United States of Europe' or do you think it will just continue as it is?

No, for two reasons. 1) Even though economic ties are relatively strong the cultural differences will never let the EU be a unified country, and 2) the muslim immigration and birth-rate invasion of the European continent will one day, possibly in the lifetime of those now living, take over all of Europe, do away with the EU and institute Islam as a government.

No, it just wouldn't function, the laws the EU come out with are absurd!

never... because the EU members like their independance, their culture and their own indentity.. we are not like the USA... our situation is different during the cretaion of the USA, the states of america weren't real countries, they have one ennemy: UK moreover they had the same languages, in europe it's different and people don't want a USE... we can go ahead in the inclusion but not so far away

We have a distrust of the French, the Germans can be iffy, the Spaniards are aloof, etc., etc. We are too close to the Americans for Europeans to embrace us. I could go on and on. I voted against joining Europe. We had all the contacts we needed. Now look at the mess we are in.

In this way it would be impossible for Berlusconi (or people like him) to establish a regime as he's trying to do  in my beloved country.

Never happen. Too many different languages and cultures. There'd be no basis for it.

We aren't killing each other anymore. What would this super-state achieve?

no it is not close to becoming  a melting pot!!!  i believe you will have a wwiii before a unified country could exist!!!
