Do you think that other people's weddings are a real hassle?

I have a real problem with people who issue a wedding list for a start, it feels to me as if people are demanding gifts, when in this day and age, there are very few people who havent already got household stuff.

Secondly, lots of people choose to get married abroad or have their hen/stag parties abroad, thinking that everyone else can afford to go abroad for that purpose, spending goodness knows what on hotels, flights, gifts etc.

What do you think?

I just dont get the whole huge wedding thing. Whats wrng with a nice small wedding with the close family and friends and then a bit bigger do at night with the added extras/ If people want to buy something then so be it, if they dont...who cares? yu just married the love of your life!

As for stag and hen parties, whats wrong with a veil and a night on the local town?

It annoys me how much people spend and expect their friends to spend in order to have thei 'perfect' wedding. I dont see why marrying the person of your dreams cant be enough
