  1. Yes because water is the most recyclable resource on earth although it takes time..

  2. Most definitely... water never actually leaves the Earth; it just migrates to different parts of the Earth depending on climate.  It will never run out.

Fossil fuels, though, are a different story.

  3. No, because if we keep on using it it will eventually be gone or unless it's a natural resource which it's not. Try the website below to see if you can find the answer that you want.

  4. Where would it go?

Our ecology is a "closed system" so far as water is concerned.  Our atmosphere keeps the water here on the planet.  Oh, I guess there might be a VERY small amount that leaks off into space, but it would be so small that it would take millions of years for it to all go away.

    HOWEVER . . .

CLEAN water is another question.  We are polluting our water on a daily basis, with pesticides and "acid rains" adna dust from erosion.  While our ecology would correct these problems by itself if left alone, we have to be very careful what we do to our water system, so that we don't pollute it faster than it can clean itself.

At our current rate, it IS possible that there could be very little CLEAN water left in a couple of hundred years.  That measn there is plenty of WATER, but it is not clean.  We cannot drink it; fish and other sea life cannot live in it.  And if our lakes and seas die, our world will die soon afterwards.

  5. Of course! Matter cannot be created or destroyed. The water goes through the water cycle and goes back to the natural sources. When someone says "you're wasting water" they mean the amount of freshwater you're using, which costs money.

So yes, the water supply will last, it's remained the same for quite some time now and will be the same until an ice age.

  6. thanks to global warming i would be more afraid of too much water

  7. Sure. H2O is a relatively stable molecule.

If you're asking whether I believe that humanity will outgrow its water supply and whether humans will go thirsty in the future, I don't know. But clean water can be manufactured at a certain cost so I'm inclined to think that other factors will constrain the growth -- at least in developed countries like mine. In impoverished countries, water scarcity is often a problem right now.

  8. Two words:

    Desalinization Plants

That is the future of drinking water on Earth.

  9. yeah i think it will run out.
