  1. The best description I've ever read of a communist:

"A person that has nothing and wants to share it with everybody else."

    Think on this:

If communism is SO GREAT, why people are not allowed to go in and out of the country as they please?????

  2. Maybe it's not evil, but it doesn't sound like a fun way to live. The government telling you where you can live, what kind of job you can have, where and if you can travel. There have been communist countries that if you talk bad about the government, you can get thrown into prison, or sometimes your whole family gets thrown into prison. In North Korea people have been thrown into prison for making international phone calls. In communist countries the government controls what you can watch on TV, what you hear on the radio. Like I said, it doesn't sound like a fun way to live. I prefer freedom

  3. There isn't a method of living which a country applies to its people that is absolutely perfect or without flaw. Communism has its flaws, as does a Democracy. It also depends on how these countries are run. The reason Communism has been put into such harsh light is largely attributed to Stalin, KGB, secret police, etc. Not to mention the fact that during the Cold War, they were a rival of the U.S. which put a lot of false information out into the mainstream.

On the same note, however, America as a Democracy has had its own share of problems. We have one of the highest crime rates in the world and one of (if not THE) the largest obesity rates ever.

Both have their negatives, and both depend on ones perspective of the other based on their own experiences.

  4. Communism aka Leninism aka Centralized Socialism, is in fact Lenin's version of Marx's and Engel's version of the then-British Democracy! True, Communism is simply a political ideology like any other, and no political ideology is without flaws!

  5. "you eat, sleep, work, get paid..... is it any different than a communist country.. NO... "

The difference is...no matter how well you do your job, how much you apply yourself... you get paid THE SAME. There are no rewards for excellence. Consequently, there is no motivation to do better OR produce a high quality product. THAT is at least one difference.

Communism breeds stagnation and mediocrity... neither of which are promising characteristics of a successful society.

  6. Not at all.  It is trivially easy to see that it is evil -- both theoretically, and in practice.  The pracitcal error is that it trashes any country where it has been tried; the USSR collapsed, China has given up on it in favor of fascism, and Cuba, which is slowly and grudgingly getting away from it, has gone from being the strongest Latin American economy to one of the poorest.  The theoretical issue is that communism ignores the creation of value by trade: if trade is taken into account, the theoretical basis completely collapses.  This blunder is the most expensive mistake that anyone has ever made in the entire history of the human race; the cost has run to trillions of dollars and tens of millions of lives, and is continuing to increase every day.

  7. Of course. We're brainwashed against Communism, and Russians are brainwashed against Capitalism; where in fact both are gangster systems, both are oil economies, both are nuclear military states, both depend war for their economies.

  8. you should join the communist party in the USA we do have one you know?

  9. and the elite live large...much like the plunder an looting of the USA by the elite Bush pals....as we are pacified by vapid Disney world diversions....and fast food and rap music

  10. Hey when people say you get paid less than 100 dollars a month in China, you can live in China with that pay. Beer costs 50 cents and a pack of cigarettes cost a buck a pack. Just don't think China is bad just because you think that being payed less than 100 dollars a month is cheap labor. Americans are too spoiled. Maybe it's not a fun life to live, but at least you have what you need for life. And Americans cry and complain just because they didn't get something they want.

  11. yes. Because reading Yahoo answers makes it clear that most people dont even know what communism is

  12. I don't think I would like to live in a communist country. I mean look at China with the "One Child Policy" with China telling you how many children you are allowed to have. The answer below comes from John Hawkins. I also agree and great answer!

"Communism is a system that forces human beings to behave in a method that runs contrary to human nature and as such, is always destined to fail, impoverish the people living under it, and crush the human spirit. Communism is all about forcing people to work for the state, stealing the fruit of their labor, and giving faceless bureaucrats unlimited power and control over every aspect of the human existence.

My short answer: Your lazy brother-in-law makes as much money as you do and then reports you to the collective if you don't keep up the hard work and enthusiasm that keeps his lazy *** in the crappy manner he's accustomed.

Communism comes into vogue because a fundamental flaw in the economic system frustrates the people (oligarchies, rampant poverty and corruption, no middle class, no rule of law) and the underclass believe that "evening the playing field" would save them their despair. The citizens of Venezuela and many countries before them quickly learn that they get more than they bargained for: oppression, loss of property rights, loss of any rights.

The Left likes communism for many reasons:

They believe everyone is stupid and could use their intelligent guidance

They believe life isn't fair and want to make it fair

They deny their own human nature and urge to dominate, and communism fulfills authoritarian fantasies.

The same rich celebrities who blithely wear Ché shirts, are the same people living in 20,000 s.f mansions and demanding that you and I wipe our butt with one piece of toilet paper. In a communistic society, they'd actually get to enforce their pet ideologies on everyone while living their hypocritical, privileged life--if they didn't tangle with the collective first and end up before a firing squad. Who would the poor and their reps go after first? I'd say the toilet paper police would be the ones meeting the business end of a military device, first, much to their shock and dismay. But in the Left's never ending stupidity, they think they would be immune from the rules because they already follow all the really important ones. Their denial makes them dangerous.

And watch out for "socialism". It's just another version of the same failed ideology."

  13. Yea, I know I agree with you already.

These USA is not really captialism. What do USA call them as Democracy?/ to me they all is FACIST!
