  1. i agree bec what ppl let u be is what you really are

  2. I don't believe so.

A person is as good as their character permits them to be. Regardless their environment. Being good or bad cannot be adjusted according to circumstances.  The only differentiation appears according to how other people perceive us.  Many times our being good, polite and open, is interpreted as not good!!  But that, as I said, depends solely on how a third party perceives us and not how we really are.   People make mistakes when judging who is good and who is bad....

  3. Yes true but some are bad too

  4. That may be true for a majority of people because most of us react and retaliate all too soon.

But I am fortunate enough to be born in a family where my people believe in maintaining good conduct,  not because of other people but inspite of them.  So  I know such people who have the courage of conviction,  wisdom and confidence to remain good in the face of open hostility.  Putting the blame on other people for our own deplorable actions is the easiest thing to do...kind of escapism.

But then in some extreme cases it becomes imperative to discipline others.  And a wise person knows the difference!

  5. ''It takes greatness to inspire and create greatness, and greatness to simply let greatness be.''

The statement requires deep thought ... but is an absolute truth.

  6. no, did anyone allow Gandhi to be good or prevent anyone else from behaving like him?

I do believe there is truth in the statement about in the end people are what others expect them to be, however this truth  also, depends on the character, integrity, intellect, and personality of the individual

  8. Yes. Very truly said but not necessary as depends on the situation you are facing at the moment.

  9. I think it depends on their own self-confidence. If they have enough self-confidence, they will have their own standards on being good, even though the standards are not matched with the common opinions. If they don't have it then they will really 'listen' to what people say. No originalities on themselves.

  10. in some sense yes. at least they always see, what they want to see. the questions is just, how  serious will i take, what they make of me?

  11. yes...but you have to drag their attention first by showing then how good you are so they can help you express the rest of it in return.

without your initiative step...you will never be able to be YOU.

  12. I'm on the fence, because I believe they are only as good as they have to be until they don't gain anything from it anymore...

If you ever take the time to really look at the way they act, you can pretty much tell that they stand to gain from it, until either one of two things happens, you aren't around to see them become "mr. Hyde", or they have very inconsistent behaviour...

They can't actually be good for that long and not be getting something out of it, to them it may as well look like losing out on too much, rather than to be a little less self-consumed...

    just my two cents...

  13. True , but , why is it for those other people is letting that other people for to be , there must be a reasons for it.
