By "witness," I mean preaching one's religion to someone else (just in case someone doesn't know what that means).

  1. define Witness again for me :)

What did they actually witness???   anything REAL?

They are idiots...  not condescending or patronizing because they are too stupid to do those things...   they actually believe what they 'witness' LOL !

  2. Sometimes . . . you know, sometimes!

  3. Yes.  They assume their religion is the true and correct one, and has all the answers they need, never assuming for a moment they might have been fed a line.

  4. you forgot arrogant

  5. Yes.

  6. Yes, because it is a farce.

Why is it when people that hear voices they are sent for evaluation? Yet when christians hear voices they are given a pass?

  7. ...among other colorful adjectives

  8. Do you think Jesus was condescending? Because all the JW's do is follow in his footsteps as we were told to do.

  9. The last time I tried going to church, the pastor just assumed that we were sinners needing conversion.  He preached directly at us.  He didn't even try to ask us if we were believers (we are), or try to get to know us.  When there is religion without relationship, then there is something very wrong.  So yes, I agree that there are people who witness to others that are condescending and patronizing.  A religion without the love of God is something we stay away from, so we're not going back there. (Other things happened there that are not on topic for here.)

  10. not if they were asked questions..
