  2. Private water companies are regulated by the state due to their monopolistic advantage. This means any rates must be approved, and a service level maintained.

  3. I don't believe that they are privatizing the water but the process in which the company invests in the the purification,bottling & transportation.

  4. Lots of places have private water companies. Usually better, cheaper service.

  5. If you made private water illegal, you would be stealing private property from people under government fiat, which is unConstitutional.  So no, privatizing water should NOT be illegal.
