But I believe life is a time that is meant to be budgeted and treasured. Life is precious. It is a complete waste of time if you don't know the use of your life.

No, because each person lives  their life in the best way they can. Some struggle to survive, others are born with money, or the initiative  and ability to attain their  individual goals. Each person strives  to  satisfy their own needs. In either situation that person would not think their time was wasted in seeking their goals.  Just my opinion.
