happy new year!! they might be able to see it.. depends on how high up in the atmosphere it gos. they may think we are having war.. but they may be psychic.. or have studied our theories of how a whole journey around the sun indicates a new year.. so they may know..

yes of course they can see the fireworks!  i think they might know the difference between bombs and fireworks...we are living in a world war,  they have had many opportunities to see us kill each other with bombs and such.
