certainly a good budget for common man though still we need more facilities. general compartment is h**l and people travel like packed animal so there must be some basic facilties should be provided. better way was that to not allow long journey in general compartment. most passengers travelling in g comp. belongs from labour class and some times they have to pay illegal money more than that of the sleeper class.

At least once a week trains should be run free of any cost between two capitals, say, Chennai and Trivandrum OR Chennai and Hyderabad OR Chennai and Bangalore, like that. The travellers should be certified as below the poverty line people . Only then our beloved Railway Minister will truly run a Garib Rath. This is very much practical and practicable also.This train need not contain any AC, First Class. All bogies will simply be second class sitting accommodation. I do not know why none suggested this to our Railway Minister. I am not telling a joke . I am pretty serious when I say this.

If we want a passenger rail system that is even remotely comparable to other countries we need to fund it properly.

There are so many benefits to the populace with a properly funded system.

The ridership through Montana has increased 40% since  2002, proving that people want to ride and will if it is available to them.

Our elected representatives can't see past the next election and are too short sighted to fund a nationwide passenger rail system at levels that they should be.

Yes, it will be useful for common people , since the announcement releated to women over the age and season tickets for students community and introduction new rails and formation of new routes , and upliftments such as lifts ,escalators and parking lots attracts much comfort and gives revolutionary effort in the railway history era.
