  1. Why?  Did you jump a time machine from the 1950's?

Where the h**l have you been for the last 60 years?

    We don't segregate anymore.

  2. not really, if you want to live a certain lifestyle and another race does not I don't see anything wrong with segregation. on the other hand just to not like someone because he is of a different race is probably wrong.

  3. It will not reduce prices but it will bring in future US oil, so we will buy less from the middle east!

  4. people often prefer to associate with others who they feel something in common with. Whether it's race, gender, activities you like, whatever.

Regarding race, blacks now follow procedures that were considered racist when whites did them.

But now, for example, blacks set up 'black-only' groups in Congress (really!), they often set up black-only fraternities and groups in college, many blacks openly recommend segregation as a better way to live, etc.

Segregation is a natural tendency in many areas of life, the only real problem is when its forced by the government, rather than people's natural desires.

And by the same principle, integration, while a generally good idea when it happens naturally, often creates tremendous resentment, bittereness, and feelings of low self-esteem, when forced by the government.
