Question:

Do you think that she will come back?

I just found out today that my neighbor's cat got hit by a car. Her face got messed up, but she was eating and walking fine, so they assumed she was okay. Well, a day later she suddenly disappeared. She has been missing for about a week now.

Even though she was not my cat, I loved her. I thought of her as my own. I cried when I found out what happened. I wish they could have kept her inside. They should have taken her to the vet.

But do you think she will come back? Nobody thinks she will. They think she went off and died. I'm really worried, what do you think happened to her?

  1. Awww that is so sad and I am really sorry that happened.  Because its been a week I dont think she will.  I know when my sisters cat got out he came back the next day.  When my cat got out he came back the next day.  Maybe she was a lot more injured then they thought, yeah they should have taken her to a vet right away.  I am really sorry, i hope she does come back though even though its been awhile.

  2. Chances are she went off to die.  I'm sure she was loved by many but this is what animals do when the time comes.  I'm sorry for your loss.

    All the Best

  3. I can't believe your neighbours didn't take her to the vet! Even where cats look fine they can have internal injuries, just like people.

Your right, cats do go off to be on their own when they are hurt or dying. She might have done it, I can't say for sure.

Then again she could just have gone into hiding until her injuries are better and someone found her.

Check with the local animal shelters or welfare organisations, or vet clinics if anyone has handed in an injured cat that fits her description. It is possible she was found and handed into care to be treated for her injuries, and that's why she can't come back. Just look it up in the yellow pages/the internet. (e.g. RSPCA, Cats Protection League)

    Good luck xx

  4. I am sorry to say that she may have gone off to die.  Cats will hide when they know they are dying.  I am sorry for your loss and will pray that this isn't the case.

  5. She might have went off to die in peace. Animals do that even if they're eating and walking fine. There could have been internal injuries since her face was messed up.  They should have taken her to a vet and kept her  inside the house. I'm sorry for your loss of a friend.

My dog was run over by a car and there was a witness who saw what happened. He said he was waiting for pizza at the end of the road.

  6. Oh my god, that is so sad! And i can't believe your neighbors didn't take it to the vet! I am sorry but 50% it comes back and 50% it doesn't.

I am so sorry for happened. I don't know what i would do if that happened to my kitty. I feel your pain. I hope it comes back.

    Hope my answer helps!
