  1. Yes, and many more who don't contribute here. Thanks.

  2. I think all of us need to be better to one another, not just us bible thumpers

  3. Bullseye!

Take a gold star out of petty cash.

  4. There never is nor never will be a question that you cannot answer.  You may not know the answer, but that is where you and the person asking can find out together.  The only problem is we are an angry people now, so the second part of this verse is often lost upon us.

  5. Alright!!!!!!!!!!  Kitty Kat

I am glad you brought  up this verse ..........some Christians forget the "gentleness and respect" part.

  6. well since you did not ask, I'll just throw something at you instead.

    (Big wet kiss)

  7. i think you should stick to the KJV.

Those false translations will turn you into a useless person who is afraid to speak the word in case you hurt someone feelings.

Remember the bible says he who doesn't offend in word is perfect... are you perfect?

niente--- and you never read the bible before lol

  8. Quite right - but just how many questions are actually 'asking you to give the reason for the hope that you have'.

  9. Actually it says

but sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord: [being] ready always to give answer to every man that asketh you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness and fear:

And basically it means.. Believers should be able to give a rational explanation of their salvation and Christian faith.

  10. you hit the nail on the head with that one. And these people carnal and most of them seem to be of a reprobate mind. But if we can help just one it's worth it.

  11. The only problem with this is that many ask for an answer to a question, and when we answer from the Truth that we know, we are ridiculed or called stupid. I think all can benefit from the respect portion...

  12. yes they should... in fact i dont think of that particular verse, but when i read answers to some of these things im like ummm... what kind of person says that, and if you are really trying to get the person to see the light, trying to help them to ur religion, which you believe to be correct, do u really think their going to be keen on that religion if ur malicious to them?  totally agree with u
